Jean Salomé
Jean Salomé is a managing director at Aentib Group. He currently is:
- co-founder, funder of, and adviser to over a dozen private equity investment programs and impact regional investment funds, as well as FoFs mostly in Technology and Life Sciences, in the Americas, Europe, East-Europe, Asia and Africa – ranging in size from $30MM to over $2.5Bil
- special partner of TVM-Capital Life Sciences and Rho Fund Investors.
He was responsible for:
- orchestrating the set up of Rho-Canada (a first Canadian based US tech VC franchise first-time team / first-time fund) in partnership with CDPQ
- launching of Rho Fund Investors (RFI’s first institutional Technology & Life Sciences FoF managed by Rho and seeded by CDPQ)
- co-founding, funding and incubating TVM-Capital Canada, a $200MM Impact Life Sciences first-time team / first-time fund in partnership with Eli Lilly and Teralys Capital.
Previously, Jean worked as special policy advisor to a number of ultra large institutions and government agencies in Canada, the U.S. and overseas, in private equity, foreign direct investment and impact investment. His interests extend internationally to the impact of investing in frontier and conflict jurisdictions where he participated in a number of international mandates focused on investment reforms and economic development. He divides his time between Asia, America, Europe, Middle-East and Africa.
